Two people have filed their candidacies for the Single-Member District Two seat on the San Angelo City Council in the May 11th election. Joe Grimes and Jim Turner are the first candidates to file for the District Two seat, which has been represented by Dwain Morrison since 2003. Morrison recently filed as a candidate for mayor. A total of four seats are on the ballot. All are for two-year terms, except the SMD 1 race, which is for an unexpired one-year term created by incumbent Paul Alexander's filing for mayor.
