On Tuesday, Tom Green County commissioners lifted the county’s burn ban following recent rainfalls and increased moisture on the ground. City of San Angelo Fire Marshal Ross Coleman says that although the ban has been lifted, “property owners still remain cautious and utilize all safety measures when conducting burning activities outdoors.” Outdoor burning inside the city limits of San Angelo is prohibited. Coleman advises citizens cooking with outdoor grills inside the city limits to use propane as a fuel source.
