The defense rested Monday morning in the trial at Gunnison, Colorado of Frederick Meuller, the San Angelo man accused of murdering his wife, retired doctor Leslie Mueller, in 2008. Frederick Mueller elected not to take the stand on his own behalf. One or more rebuttal witnesses are expected to testify today — a final step before closing arguments.
