High wind warning

The National Weather Service at San Angelo has issued a high wind warning for west central Texas, including the Concho Valley. It's in effect from nine AM to eight PM today. Strong west to northwest winds of 35 to 45 miles an hour with gusts up to 60 miles an hour are possible. They will make driving difficult for motorists driving high-profile vehicles along north and south oriented roadways. Some tree branches would be broken and a few weak trees could be toppled. Other possible impacts include minor shingle damage, loose objects tossed around and blowing dust.
