B-17 bomber at Mathis

Air traffic over San Angelo took on a vintage appearance Monday morning. A World War Two era B-17 bomber landed at Mathis Field. The aircraft is wrapping up a summer tour. It is owned and maintained by members of the Commemorative Air Force, a Texas-based all-volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation, demonstration and display of military aircraft through the ages. The bomber will be at Mathis Field through Thursday morning with flights and tours available.
