City of San Angelo trash pickup and landfill fees will increase slightly on November 1st, with most residential customers paying an additional 65 cents per
month for garbage collection. The City Council approved ordinance changes that raised fees for residential and commercial garbage collection and for landfill charges. The total increases will be phased in, with most of the increase realized this year and the remainder after October 1st of next year. The increases were necessitated by increasing operating costs at the city’s landfill, which is managed by Trashaway Services.
