It's about to get much colder in the Concho Valley. According to a special weather statement issued by the National Weather Service at San Angelo, a strong cold front will drop Saturday morning with strong north winds and much colder temperatures, which will drop into the lower 50s and upper 40s by Saturday afternoon. Those north winds, which will be at least 15 to 25 miles an hour, will produced wind chills as cold as the upper 30s. Patches of light rain are possible.
