San Angelo police want to make the public aware that, within the last few weeks, they have investigated two separate incidents of deaths related to the drug Fentanyl. The FDA lists Fentanyl as a very potent narcotic painkiller that may cause death from overdose. Fentanyl is available by prescription only and should never be shared. Aside from the patch, Fentanyl comes in forms of powder, pill and lollipop. Both victims in San Angelo died from apparent respiratory failure.
