Sports headlines for Central and ASU

Looking ot the weekend...the ASU Rams play their home finale on Saturday at 2pm versus Incarnate Word from San Angelo Stadium. It’s military appreciation day. All active military and their families get in for free with ID.

The Central Bobcats have their home finale on Friday night against Abilene Cooper at 7:30. Central has to win one of their final two games to keep their playoff hopes alive.

The playoffs have already begun for Central volleyball, and for the first time in six years, the Lady Cats advanced past the first round. Central beat El Paso Coronado in five sets to advance to play Arlington High in the second round on Friday night. Also, Miles swept McCamey in three sets. Miles plays Fort Hancock tomorrow night.

Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre won his fourth career Gold Glove Award last night.
