Fire crews were able to make some headway against the Dos Amigos wildfire, this weekend. Coke County Sheriff’s Department says firefighters are continuing to mop up hot spots, today. All the volunteer fire departments had left the scene, by yesterday morning. The Texas Forest Service remains at the site, making sure nothing else flares, in the heat today. The fire started Wednesday at the Dos Amigos Ranch, just south of State Highway 158 and quickly burned through more than 19-thousand acres. It’s now near 90 percent contained.
