Musical Offices While County Completes Waterproofing Project

Tom Green County Commissioners are working out how employees are going to deal with the Courthouse waterproofing project, specifically those who work in the building’s basement. They will have to move for six months or more, while contractors finish the job. Exterior waterproofing is already complete. Some offices will move to the former library space on the first floor of the Edd B Keyes Building, others to an empty building on North Bryant. At yesterday’s meeting, commissioners also considered a request from the Historical Commission to include bathroom renovations and handicapped accessible features to the contract work.
