34 year old Purdie Clark pleaded guilty to murdering 60 year old Bud Phillips in San Angelo, on June 1st. She was sentenced to 40 years in prison for the 2009 killing. Phillips ate ice cream laced with strychnine. Now, sheriff’s department investigators in Collin County say they’re looking hard at Clark for the 2006 shooting death of her husband, at that time, 42 year old Kim Clark. He was shot twice in the head and left in a rural area. Another suspect was 24 year old Robert Murphy, who was a live in nanny for the Clark family and had a relationship with Purdie Clark. He was found dead in a San Angelo motel one month after Clark’s body was discovered.
