Council members have approved a resolution that initiates the city’s drought contingency plan. It kicks in when the city has less than 24 months of water on hand. To conserve dwindling water supplies, there will be only one allowable watering day per week, next month. Residents who rack up excess water usage will have an additional fee added to their water bill.
