A family of four from San Angelo died in a tragic car accident near Mertzon, last night. 21 year old Daniel Gonzales, 21 year old Jasmine Gonzales, 6 year old Emori Gonzales and 2 year old Kierra Smith were traveling north on U-S 67 about 11pm. 60 year old Glen Hodges of Fort Stockton was driving southbound and fell asleep at the wheel, crossing the center line and striking the Gonzales car head on.
