Double Rainfall Means Lower Drought Level

At last, we can hold off on using the "D" word. Or at least, the Severe "D" word. That word is "drought" and while the Concho Valley is still in one, it's no longer at the Severe level. For the first two months of 2012, the San Angelo area is over three-and-a-half inches wetter than normal. We're still ten inches of rain away from breaking out of the worst dry spell in west Texas history.
