Clerk tells of interaction with Wall shooting suspect

The man accused of Sunday's fatal shooting in Wall remains in custody.

Tom Green County Sheriff David Jones said Tuesday that 40-year-old Brian Berry could face more charges. However, no additional charges surfaced yesterday.

An Eldorado convenience store clerk tells the Standard-Times that Berry "just seemed like a regular customer" when he sold him a cellphone charger.

The unidentified teenager says Berry appeared "anxious to get out" of the Shell Star Stop Food Mart. He did not learn about the shooting until a half-hour after officers came to the store.
