STD clinic reestablished

The San Angelo/Tom Green County Health Department has re-established its sexually transmitted disease clinic, offering testing three days a week. The STD clinic was eliminated in 2012 when a state policy change resulted in a funding loss. The City recently received a federal grant, administered through the Texas Department of Health and Human Services, to re-establish the clinic.Testing occurs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays by appointment only at the Health Department on Pulliam Street.
