The Steel Penny Pub will close on April fourth. Owner Ed Fawcett says he voluntarily surrendered the license to sell alcohol, because it's just too expensive to fight his case with the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission. A request for permit cancellation was filed after a fatal crash last year that killed a bicyclist on Knickerbocker Road.
