The Angelo State University’s ROTC was named the best in the nation at the Arnold Air Society’s National Conclave in New York City. The Robert G Carr Squadron received the Maryland Cup for outstanding large squadron and the Lyndon Baines Johnson Cup for the best candidate training program. Major Cody Whittington won the Outstanding Area Advisor Award, a first for the A-S-U program.
