San Angelo City Council Talks Garage Sales, Alcohol on the Streets, Tomorrow

The San Angelo City Council may tweak the garage sale ordinance again tomorrow. They’re going to have a public hearing and second reading for an ordinance that raises the maximum number of garage sales you’re allowed to have on a residential site to three per year.

Members will also have first public hearing and consider an ordinance that would allow visitors to carry alcoholic beverages at the Sports Complex and 29th Street Recreation Area. They will discuss whether to issue Surplus Revenue Certificates for some capital improvement projects, like for parks, trails, the Fairgrounds and the study and design of the Visitor’s Center. And, there are resolutions on the agenda that deal with water system improvement projects.
