The San Angelo police department has announced the winners of its "Dream Program" essay winners for the spring semester. The Dream program puts officers in schools to teach kids about the dangers of drugs. The winners were recognized at a reception at police headquarters Wednesday. The award for first place went to Victoria Lopez of Austin Elementary, second place to Kelton Eisenbach of TLCA and third place to Nayeli Martinez of Reagan Elementary.
