A two-vehicle crash north of San Angelo early Thursday morning left one person dead. The Department of Public Safety identified the victim as 33-year-old Rebecca Vines of San Angelo. It happened at the intersection of U.S. Highway 87 and Grape Creek Road. Vines apparently failed to yield to an oncoming pick up truck, whose driver was taken to Shannnon with non-life-threatening injuries.
