Recent Rain Raises Lake Levels

All the rain we've had lately is giving a welcome boost to a couple of San Angelo's primary water sources. According to reservoir data provided by the U.S. Geological Survey, both lakes have seen significant increases this week after two major rain storms passed through the area. Twin Buttes Reservoir, southwest of the city, has risen two feet since Monday. The O.C. Fisher Lake, just northwest of downtown San Angelo, has risen nearly four feet after the week of rain.
