A legal victory for the San Angelo Independent School District. A lawsuit was filed against the district in February 2011 on behalf of a special needs student. The then-16-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted at Central High School between 2008 and 2010. The suit sought damages but a federal judge dismissed all charges and granted no relief. The attorney for the girl's family says they plan to appeal.
