The San Angelo Independent School District said goodbye to some long-term employees Wednesday as the District's annual retirement reception took place in the ASU LeGrand Alumni Center. A total of 52 employees are retiring. Those with 10 to 19 years with SAISD will receive a desk clock while those with 20 or more years will get commemorative wrist watches. Altogether, the retiring workers had given over one-thousand years of service to the school district.
