Veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice will be honored in events taking place today in San Angelo. Vietnam Veterans will present a program at the monument at the Airport starting at 10 AM. The All Veterans Council has a ceremony scheduled for 6 PM on the Courthouse lawn. And another summer of free concerts by the San Angelo Community Band kicks off this evening. The band will present a one-hour show featuring Broadway songs, movie scores and patriotic tunes beginning at 7 PM. The concert will be held at the west pavilion of El Paseo De Santa Angela on East Avenue D.
