Portions of West Central Texas, including the Concho Valley, are under a hazardous weather outlook. The National Weather Service at San Angelo says near-critical fire weather conditions are expected this afternoon and early evening west of a line from Haskell to San Angelo to Ozona. Southwest winds of 15 to 20 miles an hour will combine with relative humidity values of 10 to 20 percent and very hot temperatures. Any outdoor burning or any activity that could result in accidental flames should be done with caution.
