The National Weather Service at San Angelo has issued a hazardous weather outlook for portions of West Central Texas, including the Concho Valley. There is a chance for thunderstorms today, mainly south of a line from Brownwood to Sterling City. Within that area, there is a slight risk for severe thunderstorms producing large hail, damaging winds and deadly cloud-to-ground lightning. Isolated tornadoes cannot be ruled out.
