Groundbreaking took place Wednesday for a new single-family rental home development in the Blackshear neighborhood. As part of San Angelo's neighborhood revitalization plans, "North Angelo Housing Estates" consists of 36 single-family homes to be rented to qualified low-income households. The project is a result of a partnership between the city and other local community development partners.
