Another legal defeat for FLDS leader Warren Jeffs. On Wednesday, the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals turned down Jeffs' appeal of his sexual assault conviction. Representing himself, Jeffs is serving a sentence of life plus 20 years in Palestine for sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl and a 15-year-old girl. Next up for Jeffs is a pre-trial hearing in San Angelo Monday morning on a charge of first-degree felony bigamy.
