An Angelo State University art major has been named the top prize winner in ASU's 2011 Holland Symposium Student Contest. Sean Halstead, who specializes in graphic design, won first place and a 500 dollar prize for his digital print, "Pigskin Pledge." All contest entries will be on public display March 1st through the 23rd in the ASU Art Gallery in the Carr Education-Fine Arts Building on Dena Drive.
