It's always a good idea to have your driver's license and proof of insurance when you are operating a motor vehicle. Motorists were reminded of that Wednesday morning as San Angelo police conducted a checkpoint in the 1500 block of Glenna Drive. More than 500 drivers were checked and, of those, 64 were cited for no insurance and 50 for no driver's license. In addition, eight people were arrested on city and county warrants.
