Council Considers New Watering Plan

With water supplies very much in mind, the San Angelo City Council is looking at ways to make it go further by re-writing regulations on watering home lawns and plants. An ordinance under consideration this week would allow hand watering at any time and would expand teh definition of drip irrigation to include bubbler systems, soaker hoses and deep-root watering systems. All would be allowed provided the total amount of home irrigation doesn't exceed one inch per week. So, the amount of water per week would still be restricted -- how you put it on your grass and plants would be mostly up to you.
