Angelo State University has been awarded a 480-thousand dollar grant from the National Science Foundation to upgrade the Angelo State Natural History Collections housed in the university's Biology Department. The primary goal of the three-year project is to improve researcher and educator access to the collection's 120-thousand specimens of plants, mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and tissue samples.
