San Angelo police responded to a family violence call Monday evening at a home in the 29-hundred block of Blum. Elizabeth Gonzalez said that she and her husband, Andrew Florez, had been arguing and that he cut her on the arm with a kitchen knife and then fled. Officers responded to a call in the 25-hundred block of Bowie regarding a suspicious man, who turned out to be Florez. Police say he did not go quietly and was finally arrested and charged with aggravated assault family violence and resisting arrest.
