The National Weather Service at San Angelo has issued a hazardous weather outlook for West Central Texas, including the Concho Valley. There is a slight risk of severe thunderstorms this afternoon and tonight, mainly along and southwest of a line from Sterling CIty to Eden to Junction Line. Any storms that develop will have the potential to become severe, possibly with large hail, damaging winds, locally heavy rainfall and dangerous cloud-to-ground lightning.
