On Monday, San Angelo police responded to a reported residential burglary on Shady Point Circle Drive. The victim said items stolen included a firearm and ammunition. An investigation led to a suspect, 31-year-old Jerred Denton of San Angelo, who turned out to have several outstanding city warrants. Denton was located at a residence on Ridgecrest, along with the stolen firearm and ammunition, plus a large amount of other property suspected of being stolen. He was arrested and taken to the Tom Green County Jail.
