Lake Nasworthy down

According to the City of San Angelo, drought, evaporation and usage have caused Nasworthy to shrink to less than 60 percent of its capacity. As a result, low water levels have exposed shelf rock, pipes and other obstructions that could damage watercraft and injure boaters. Buoys have been placed to mark many of the hazards, but boaters should exercise caution at all times and in all locations. Buoys marked “Boats Keep Out” have been placed in areas where the water is too low to use.
