The Tom Green County Commissioners Court voted Tuesday morning to lift the county's burn ban. Residents are still reminded that if they plan a controlled or monitored burn of brush, grass, etc., to--one--contact the Sheriff’s Dispatch Office to inform them of the planned burn and--two--be cautious, check the forecast and NEVER burn during windy conditions.
