Drought Level III delayed

The San Angelo City Council has put off a vote on implementing Drought Level Three. Drought Level Three is triggered when the city has less than 12 months of water supply remaining and that requirement was reached as of last Friday. It would prohibit outside watering, the refilling of fountains and swimming pools and car-washing. The city council decided that there needs to be more discussion of exemptions for businesses using water. The move will be reconsidered next month.
