The National Weather Service at San Angelo has issued a flash flood watch for West Central Texas, including the Concho Valley. Widespread heavy rainfall of one to three inches is expected with localized amounts potentially exceeding five inches. Runoff from this heavy rainfall may result in flash flooding of roads, low water crossings, creeks and streams and urban areas. The flash flood watch is in effect from this morning through tomorrow night.
