Early Friday morning, San Angelo police attempted to stop a vehicle in the 500 North Baze Street for a traffic violation. The vehicle pulled into a private driveway and both the male driver and female passenger fled on foot toward an alley. With the help of Police Service Dog Snoop, the suspects were found hiding nearby. A search of the vehicle turned up weapons, including a stolen handgun, and methamphetamine. 25-year-old Ernieo Antu and 18-year-old Alma Rivera, both of San Angelo, were arrested on a outstanding warrants and new charges.
