An annual crime and drug prevention event takes place next Tuesday. That's when neighborhoods throughout San Angelo and Wall are invited to join forces with thousands of communities throughout Texas for the “29th Annual National Night Out.” From 4:30 to 9 on Tuesday evening, residents are asked to lock their doors, turn on outside lights and spend the evening outside with neighbors and police. Many neighborhoods will be hosting a variety of events such as block parties, cookouts, carnivals, flashlight walks, youth activities and anti-crime rallies.
