A man tried to run but he couldn't hide from San Angelo police. Just after midnight Wednesday morning, an officer patroling near the San Angelo Lodge on West Beauregard noticed a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot. It turned out to be connected to a man wanted on several warrants. The occupant of the vehicle gave police what turned out to be a false name and date of birth, then took off running but was caught after a brief foot pursuit. Police say the man was confirmed to be the wanted subject, 36-year-old Daniel Brown of San Angelo. Brown faces several charges, including possession of methamphetamine that was found in his vehicle.
