A former member of the San Angelo City Council appeared in district court Tuesday to plead guilty to a third degree felony charge of driving while intoxicated. Fredd Adams was sentenced to a seven years probation. Adams resigned as representative of Single-Member District Four last week. He'd served on the city council since 2009. The city council will decide at its next meeting whether to appoint a replacement for Adams or leave the position vacant until the May elections.
