Helping Hands is still seeking volunteer teams to help with its Spring Blitz work day on Saturday, April 13th. The teams will assist in restoring the homes of low-income elderly homeowners to help make them safe, secure and weatherproof. Currently, the organization has 14 volunteer teams, but with more help, would be able to assist at least 30 homeowners in April. Individuals or teams interested in volunteering can contact the Helping Hands Office at 227-6753 to sign up.
