Bowie Elementary was expected to be open today after a broken water line was discovered at the school Tuesday. Repairs necessitated that the electricity at the school had to be turned off. Parents were requested to pick up their children early. Those children who could not be picked up were in safekeeping for the rest of the day with restroom facilities provided by two SAISD charter buses.
