Winter weather advisory

The National Weather Service says a winter weather advisory remains in effect for parts of west Central Texas, including the Concho Valley, until nine o'clock this morning. Widespread snow totals of one to three inches have occurred across most of the Concho Valley, northern Edwards Plateau Heartland and Northwest Hill Country. That's mainly south of a line from Robert Lee to Ballinger to Brownwood. Lighter totals up to one inch have occurred as far north as Interstate 20. These totals will produce significant travel difficulties until the snow can melt off area roadways, especially bridges and overpasses.
