If you got caught in downtown traffic around lunchtime Wednesday, here's why. According to San Angelo police, the driver of a pickup facing north was turning left off Bryant and collided with a driver in a car going south on Bryant. The impact sent the car into the street light pole. Police blocked off several lanes at Bryant and Seventh while the vehicles were towed and workers cleared debris. The driver of the pick-up was cited for failure to yield right of way.
