The San Angelo Chamber of Commerce has announced that reserved camping spaces for the annual Showdown in San Angelo Drag Boat Races are now on sale. This year's races will be held on the weekend of June 22nd at Lake Nasworthy. Each year during the event, the Chamber leases approximately fifty 30-foot by 40-foot camping spaces on the Grassy Meadows side of the lake. Spots range from 300 to 400 dollars and include two admission bands, passes to a special Test and Tune event, one cooler pass, and a designated 10-foot by 10-foot viewing area along the bank of the lake.
